What does nodectl poweroff do exactly?

Does it shut down the node in question and swich it off once its system has been halted, or does it switch off the node immediately without waiting for its O/S to get shut down?

What I’ve found out it that some 1 second after issuing the nodectl poweroff -n 1, the power LED of node #1 goes out. This also applies to the other nodes.

The nodectl poweroff command will forcibly turn off the powerof the corresponding node device

So this means that each node has to be shut down somehow (serial console?) before powering it off, right?

And: Does nodectl reboot perform a hard reset, or does it reboot the node cleanly?
