Through iperf3 I see a total effective speed of about 5.5 Gb/sec. This is also with two simultaneous instances, to be clear (from N2):
Iperf3 -c blade3-N1 & iperf3 -c blade3-N3
Does this value appear to you?
Comparable results also between Blade3 that do not have peripherals installed on the corresponding backplane, nor SSDs connected to the ports.
Would it be reasonable to think that by running a bidirectional test the speed would double? So we would have:
SATA 4 Gb/sec
TCP/IP 12 Gb/sec
PCIe m2. 16 Gb/sec
-–-_----- 32 Gb/sec ??
