I’m trying to install Ubuntu on a Mixtile Blade 3 Cluster Box, but I can’t get the device detected over USB.
Current situation:
- Talos OS was previously installed successfully
- I’m now trying to reflash the device from macOS
- USB-C cable is connected to the port labeled near ADB
- adb devices shows no devices
- rkdeveloptool ld also shows no devices found
- I tried power cycling and holding the recovery/reset button during power-on
As far as I understand, ADB should only work with Android, but even MaskROM / loader mode is not detected.
Questions:
- What is the exact procedure to enter MaskROM / loader mode on Blade 3?
- Is there a specific button or pin (BOOT / RECOVERY) that must be shorted?
- Which USB port must be used for flashing?
- Is it possible that Talos blocks USB flashing unless hardware pins are used?
At the moment the device is not visible via USB at all, so I can’t reinstall Ubuntu.
